The Windows demo/evaluation version of KickRace is available (and coninuously updated) under Download! Completely new, scalable user interface and many new features/functions were added.
- connects to PCs standard parallel port (EPP/ECP-mode)

- dirver data base, many settings, driver setup and setup configuration,
individual sounds and many more...

Important: The demo/evaluation version has a limited functionality
and CANNOT be enabled to a full version by entering a licencse key.

KickRace DOS 1.0.1 Version available (up to WIN 98SE)!
KickRace is a PC-software for time recording and administration
purposes of model car races. Using the parallel (printer) port of
a standard PC or laptop computer, there is no hardware modification
required to run and use KickRace. KickRace offers the following features:
- makes use of the standard parallel port, no hardware modifications on the PC od notebook
- max. 8 drivers / tracks / channels
- lap-limited (max. 500) or time-limited (max. 9999 s) racing mode
- time recording with a resolution below 1/1000 s possible - depending on the hardware
- continuously updated ranking during the race
- permanent display of the best lap in the race
- display of backlogs after end of the races
- automatic protocol file incl. date, Pranking, best lap, individual times etc.
- on-screen result list
- hardware test function for parallel port
- possibility of controlling two traffic/signal lights (red to green during start, vice versa when race stopped
Due to possible limitations on
some PCs and notebooks, however, small diagnosis tools will be available for download
from this site shortly. You will find KickRace very useful and
comfortable with slot car racing, RC car racing and many other applications.
The required timing hardware like photo transistors, magnetic switches
etc. is not provided here but can be easily supplied by third party
distributors or purchased from some experts in the slot car or rc-car
scene.
KickRace will be available as a low cost MS-DOS™ application
(up to Windows™ 98SE/ME) and as a pure MS-Windows™ version.
